Accessibility

Simply Red · Summer Funk ’27 · Gunnersbury Park, London

Gunnersbury Park aims to cater for all access needs so that everyone has an enjoyable time at the event. For any accessibility question, you can contact the access team by email at accessibility@louderuk.com.

Tickets for this show are not on sale yet. Ticketing, parking and on-site details will be confirmed closer to the event and added to this page as soon as they are available.

Booking your ticket

If you plan to apply for a free PA or carer ticket, please do not purchase a ticket for your PA or carer. We are unable to refund PA tickets that have already been bought.

Only tickets purchased through the official Simply Red ticket shops are valid for the event. The person whose name is on the ticket may be asked to show photo ID on the day of the event to gain entry. Proof of disability is required in order to apply for access facilities. Accepted evidence is listed further down this page.

Because demand for access facilities is high, we recommend completing the PA ticket application as soon as you have purchased your ticket.

  • DLA letter. Any level of Care or Mobility allows you to apply for access facilities; middle or higher rate is required for a free PA or carer ticket.

  • Letter from a medical professional.

We recognise that this list does not cover every person with an access requirement. If you do not have any of the above but would still like to apply for one or more access provisions, please get in touch, explain what you need and why, and provide any evidence you do have.

If you are not sure whether your evidence will be accepted, or you do not currently have documents in place, please still get in touch. We know that access needs are individual and we will always do our best to find a solution that works. You are welcome to email any additional evidence that supports your application. Applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Accessible provisions

For Simply Red at Gunnersbury Park, the following provisions can be requested:

  • Wheelchair viewing platform, for wheelchair users plus one PA.
  • Seated viewing area, for people who have mobility requirements and need a seat, plus one PA.
  • Standing viewing area, for people who are able to stand but need a viewing area separated from the main arena, plus one PA.

Spaces are limited and on a first come, first served basis, subject to supporting evidence. If the provision is full at the time of your purchase, you will be placed on a waiting list. We cannot guarantee that a space will become available, but where possible we will reallocate and adjust capacities so that we can accommodate as many people as we can.

You do not need to apply for access to accessible toilet facilities. These operate under the National Key Scheme. If you need to bring medication or your own food for dietary requirements, please contact accessibility@louderuk.com in advance so that they can direct you to the correct entry gate, ensuring you are able to enter the event without issue.

If you are unsure which facility is right for you, or you have questions about how these areas work in practice, please email accessibility@louderuk.com and we can help you decide.

The site is parkland and mainly grass, and can be uneven in places. Under wet conditions the ground can become muddy or waterlogged. In dry conditions it can be dusty. It is not a stadium and does not have hard standing throughout or dedicated seating areas.

Accessible viewing areas

Spaces must be prebooked. If you are allocated a space, it is available for you to use all day.

Capacity is limited and access is for customers who have applied plus one PA. If you would like to talk through which viewing area would work best for you, please email accessibility@louderuk.com.

Assistance dogs

There will be a dedicated area for exercising assistance dogs next to the Access Tent. Assistance dogs are welcome on site but must be pre-registered. Please contact accessibility@louderuk.com.

Accessible parking

Blue Badge parking details will be confirmed closer to the event and added to this page. If you are planning to drive and are unsure what is suitable for you, the access team can offer guidance at accessibility@louderuk.com.

VIP area

The VIP area is mostly on soft ground. Full details of the layout and access facilities will be confirmed closer to the event and added to this page as soon as they are available. If you have specific questions about VIP access in the meantime, please email accessibility@louderuk.com.

Deaf customers and BSL

There will be a team of BSL interpreters on site. An interpreter will be based at the main stage, and a small number of interpreters will also be available at the Access Tent. If you have particular interpretation needs, or questions about how BSL will be provided, you are welcome to contact us in advance at accessibility@louderuk.com.

Access passes and entrance

All access passes and PA tickets are allocated to customers whose requests have been confirmed in advance. If you have pre-registered your access requirements, you may use the accessible entrance to the event.

Smoke machines, strobe lighting, fireworks and other special effects may be used. If you may be affected by these, please contact us for more information and advice so we can help you plan your visit.

Accessible toilets

Accessible toilets will be located throughout the event site. These will be clearly signposted on site maps and by signage at each event. You do not need to pre-register to use accessible toilets. If you have any questions about their locations or access, please ask a steward or visit the Access Tent.

Mental health and wellbeing

Gunnersbury Park aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment, but we recognise that large crowds, sound levels and lighting effects can be overwhelming, especially for people with mental health, sensory or emotional needs.

There are welfare facilities on site that can provide:

  • Quiet areas
  • Confidential, experienced support
  • Help with practical and personal issues

If you feel overwhelmed, unwell or simply need some space, please speak to staff or head to the welfare area. The teams are there to support you and you can stay as long as you need.

Medical assistance

Gunnersbury Park has trained medical staff from our medical provider. If you or someone near you requires urgent medical assistance, please speak to a member of staff or security steward as soon as possible.

If you know in advance that you will need to store medication on site, or may need regular access to medical support, you can also contact accessibility@louderuk.com to discuss this before the event.
